Raw materials & machinery

Manufacturing process

  1. Collect fallen thick sheaths of areca nut palm leaves from grounds.
  2. Clean and soak the leaf sheaths in water for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. Dry the soaked sheaths for about 30 minutes.
  4. Compress the prepared leaves into different shapes using shaped dies in hydraulic or manual machines.
  5. Inspect, sort, and pack the finished crockery items as per customer requirements.

Market

There is a high and growing demand for eco-friendly, biodegradable disposable tableware due to government restrictions on plastic and polystyrene products. Products target domestic and international markets, particularly high-end segments seeking sustainable alternatives.
