Manufacturing process
- Receive patient impression and prepare master cast using dental stone and silicone gel inside a duplicating flask.
- Survey the master cast to check undercuts and design the framework using inlay wax.
- Invest the wax pattern in a casting ring using silica bonded investment material and burn out the wax in a casting furnace.
- Melt wironium or porcelain metal using an induction casting machine and cast into the ring using oxygen and LPG fuel.
- Cool the casting, remove investment material via sandblasting, and perform necessary welding or grinding.
- Apply opaque material and porcelain layers matched with a shade guide, then fire in a porcelain furnace.
- Finish and polish the final crown, bridge, or denture using burs, stones, and silicone polishers before packing and delivery.
