Manufacturing process

  1. Produce main body of the lock and lever holding pin using pressure die casting with molds and high pressure.
  2. Machine the lever holding pin further on a lathe or milling machine to create slots for fixing levers.
  3. Punch and shape levers using a power press with punching dies.
  4. Fit the levers into the plunger and insert into the main body, securing with a pin for final assembly along with externally procured keys.
  5. Perform manual quality checking on the assembled locks and pack them into cardboard boxes.

Market

Auto locks have strong demand driven by the growing automobile sector in the country. They can be supplied directly to automobile manufacturers as original equipment or sold through the replacement market.
