Manufacturing process

  1. Preforming the gear blank via casting, forging, or cutting from standard stock rods and billets.
  2. Annealing of the blank if required, especially for forged or cast steels.
  3. Machining the gear blank to required dimensions on lathes and milling machines.
  4. Producing gear teeth through hobbing, shaping, milling, or broaching processes.
  5. Hardening the machined gear and teeth through full or surface heat treatment induction processes.
  6. Finishing the teeth using shaving, grinding, honing, and lapping processes to achieve precise tolerances.
  7. Inspecting the finished gears using profile inspection and other testing machines.
