Manufacturing process
- Procure mild steel wire rods of desired diameter from local vendors.
- Clean and etch wire rods using acid pickling to remove dust and rust.
- Feed wire coils into the automatic spoke forming machine for straightening.
- Cut the wire to length, form the head by press fitting, and apply an angular bend.
- Make threads over the bent head by rolling between threaded dies.
- Thread nipples to the spokes.
- Feed spokes into the electroplating plant for chemical treatment to ensure corrosion resistance.
- Pack and dispatch the finished spokes according to requirements.
