Raw materials & machinery

Manufacturing process

  1. Raw material procurement and quality testing of incoming oils, fats, and chemicals.
  2. Storage and filtration of raw materials to remove contaminants and water.
  3. Esterification process using an acid catalyst and alcohol to convert free fatty acids.
  4. Transesterification process to convert triglycerides into methyl esters (biodiesel).
  5. Decantation and gravitational sedimentation to separate biodiesel from glycerol.
  6. Purification using water and dry washing technologies to eliminate remaining impurities.
  7. Storage in compatible tanks and filling into airtight sealed containers for shipping.

Market

Biodiesel is increasingly attractive due to environmental benefits, growing emphasis on renewable energy, and its use as a substitute for petroleum diesel without engine modifications. Commercialization bottlenecks primarily depend on raw material oil prices.
