Raw materials & machinery

Manufacturing process

  1. Procure and store raw materials in inventory according to production requirements.
  2. Mix deionized water and cocamidopropyl betaine in the primary mixing tank.
  3. Add sodium lauryl sulphate and disodium cocamido into the tank in proper proportions.
  4. Heat the mixture to 60 degrees Celsius using a steam jacketed kettle equipped with an agitator for continuous stirring.
  5. Allow the heated mixture to cool down after proper blending.
  6. Add propylene glycol, preservatives, and cosmetic active ingredients with continuous agitation.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a homogenizer, adjust the pH to between 7 and 8, and blend in the desired fragrance.
  8. Inspect the prepared bodywash gel against specified standards and fill into bottles using the filling machine.
  9. Pack the filled bottles and dispatch for distribution.

Market

The market for bodywash and shower gels is expanding due to urban consumer preference for skin care products that offer hydration and avoid the drying effects of traditional bar soaps. Growth is driven by supermarket and mall availability as well as increasing health and personal care awareness.
