Manufacturing process

  1. Grind fine raw materials like clay, quartz, and feldspar in a ball mill.
  2. Store the grinded clay slurry in storage tanks or agitators to achieve a homogeneous clay body.
  3. Shape the clay slip into various products using pressing, casting, thronging, or jigger and jolly methods.
  4. Store or dry the shaped green articles in work sheds or dryers.
  5. Clean the dried articles with a wet sponge to remove surface dust.
  6. Apply ceramic glazes and fire the articles in an oil-fired or gas-fired furnace, incorporating under-glaze or over-glaze decoration as required.
