Manufacturing process
- Prepare the thickener solution in a mixing vessel with a stirrer and add sulphonic acid and foam booster.
- Prepare the caustic soda or caustic potash solution in a jacketed SS reaction vessel to dissipate exothermic heat.
- Add the thickener solution to the alkali solution under continuous agitation in a reaction mixer.
- Dissolve soda ash or trisodium EDTA in water and add it to the mixture to neutralize the solution.
- Dissolve surfactants in requisite water and add to the mixture with intense mixing.
- Add the activated charcoal powder and mix the contents thoroughly.
- Add dissolved colorants, fragrances, and preservatives, then allow the mixture to stand for 3-4 hours.
- Perform quality control testing for pH, viscosity, appearance, and odor.
- Pump the approved mixture into holding tanks and feed into the automatic bottle filling line.
- Fill bottles, apply caps using the capping machine, and pass containers through the labelling machine before final packaging.
