Manufacturing process
- Cloth to be embroidered is purchased from the market
- Designs are traced on the surface by Rangrez with the help of blocks
- The cloth is placed on a frame
- Embroidery is done by hand by women artisans
- Once the embroidery is done the cloth is washed
- The cloth is starched and iron-pressed to obtain stiffness
