Manufacturing process
- Place cotton roll in the unwinding and feeding section while feeding stalks into the hopper.
- The machine pulls the cotton and stalks simultaneously into the roll winding section.
- The stalk is held and rotated against the metered cotton to form tightly wrapped cotton buds on one or both ends.
- Finished swabs are moved via conveyor to storage or directly into a packaging machine.
- Swabs are sorted, counted, and packaged into boxes, then packed into cartons for sale.
Market
Cotton buds sales are increasing due to modern retailing, grocery channels, and expansion into baby and child-care applications as well as makeup accessories and electronics cleaning.
