Manufacturing process

  1. Cut eucalyptus and tulsi leaves using a leaf cutting machine and leave them to dry for 1-2 days.
  2. Pulverize the dried leaves into a fine powder form.
  3. Mix guggal, cascalia powder, jigat powder, and dried compounds with DEP oil using a water bath mixing machine.
  4. Uniformly blend dhoop wood, charcoal powder, groundnut shell powder, and leaf powder in a powder mixing machine.
  5. Transfer the mixed material along with plasticizer and perfumery compound into an edge runner machine to form a sticky paste.
  6. Pass the paste through a cutting and extrusion setup to convert it into incense sticks and cones.
  7. Pack the finished dhoop batti into retail boxes and corrugated master cartons.

Market

Dhoop Batti is increasingly popular in ritual ceremonies like havan and religious occasions. Local vendors often repack bulk quantities, providing a strong local market potential and steady demand.
