Manufacturing process
- Store geranium shoots in a shaded area as raw material inventory.
- Boil the geranium shoots with water in a heating vessel for 3 to 4 hours to vaporize the essential oil.
- Transfer the generated steam to a condenser via steam pipe, where cooling water circulates to condense the mixture.
- Send the condensed mixture of water and geranium oil to a separator.
- Allow the mixture to settle so the immiscible oil floats on top of the water.
- Drain the water from the bottom and recycle it back to the heating vessel, then extract the geranium oil.
- Supply the extracted oil to a filling machine to pack into 10ml to 500ml bottles.
