Manufacturing process

  1. Pulverize raw gypsum using a disc pulveriser.
  2. Calcine the pulverized gypsum in a rotary drum oven to remove moisture.
  3. Mix the calcined gypsum with water, additives, and reinforcement fibers in a slurry tank.
  4. Pour the mixture into moulds or onto a production line between facer and backer sheets.
  5. Allow the boards to set and dry to achieve required structural strength.
  6. Trim and inspect the finished boards for quality before packaging.

Market

The market for gypsum plaster board is growing due to rising demand in the construction industry for internal wall and ceiling solutions, as well as the 'do it yourself' (DIY) sector.
