Manufacturing process

  1. Pulverize bituminous coal into fine powder using a ball mill.
  2. Heat the fine coal in a coke oven battery at 700-900 degrees Celsius in the absence of air (Carbonisation).
  3. Soak at temperature for 7-8 hours and allow to cool within the furnace to develop hardness and porosity.
  4. Crush the produced coke into the desired size.
  5. Test for strength, fixed carbon, sulfur, and ash content in a laboratory.
