Manufacturing process
- Place spun-bound polypropylene rolls and melt blown polypropylene rolls in the roll feeding section, and the elastic band reel in the ear loop welding section.
- Unroll the sheets simultaneously and feed them into the edge seam welding section to join the layers continuously.
- Feed the welded material through the folding section and pass it through a hot press to set the mask shape.
- Cut the material to width in the cutting and welding section to form the mask bodies.
- Weld cut pieces of polyamide elastic band as ear loops onto each mask body.
- Pack the finished surgical masks into plastic packaging and outer cartons for sale.
Market
The India surgical mask market is driven by an increase in the elderly population, adoption of surgical masks among the general population, and prevalence of contagious diseases like tuberculosis, asthma, and coronavirus.
