Manufacturing process

  1. Harvesting fully developed and mature amla fruits based on seed color change.
  2. Storing fruits in cold storage if needed or transferring immediately to maintain freshness.
  3. Washing selected mature and firm fruits thoroughly using a fruit and vegetable washing machine.
  4. Deseeding and segmenting the washed fruits using a seed separation machine.
  5. Extracting pulp by adding water and passing the segments through a pulping machine, followed by filtration.
  6. Pasteurizing the fruit pulp at 78 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes, moving to a cooling section, and adding potassium metabisulphide as a preservative.
  7. Filling the juice into sterilized bottles, capping, sterilizing for 20 minutes, and storing in a cool dry place.

Market

Amla juice is a natural remedy known for boosting immunity, controlling blood sugar levels, improving digestion, and stimulating hair growth. Due to high perishability of raw fruit, processing into juice creates high-value marketable products with strong demand.
