Raw materials & machinery

Manufacturing process

  1. Mix calculated amounts of maida, starch, vanaspati, water, and other ingredients in a mixer to form a paste.
  2. Pour the paste into a pre-heated mould to bake the wafer sheet.
  3. Mix sugar, vanaspati, colour, and essence in a planetary mixer to form cream.
  4. Apply the prepared cream on the baked sheets to form a sandwich.
  5. Cut the wafer sandwich into biscuits.
  6. Pack the finished wafer biscuits in pouches.

Market

Bakery industry in India is the largest of the food industries with an annual turnover of about Rs.3000 crores. India is the second largest producer of biscuits after USA. Bakery products have now become essential food items for the vast majority of the population.
