Manufacturing process
- Inspection and sorting of fully matured but slightly unripe bananas manually on a platform.
- Washing the selected bananas using a fruit washer or water tank to remove impurities.
- Peeling the bananas after brief dipping in boiling water, followed by trimming and cutting the pulp.
- Drying the banana slices in a drying chamber using hot air heaters.
- Pulverizing the dehydrated slices into fine powder using a pulverizer and passing through a vibrating screen.
- Packaging the banana powder in water or airproof polythene bags or tin containers.
