Manufacturing process

  1. Sift the flours using a flour sifter to remove impurities and foreign particles.
  2. Knead the besan, rice flour, spices, and water into a uniform dough using a dough kneading machine.
  3. Extrude the prepared dough through specific dies into the frying tank using a namkeen extruder.
  4. Fry the extruded sev and bhujia in the namkeen frying machine.
  5. Pass the fried snacks through a de-oiling machine to remove excess oil.
  6. Transfer the de-oiled snacks to a seasoning machine and tumble with salt and spices.
  7. Weigh, pack, and seal the finished namkeen using nitrogen flush packaging machines.

Namkeen snacks like sev and bhujia have a high demand across India as popular everyday snacks and accompaniments to various chaat dishes.
